It's time for another gift guide! Just tuning in? You can check out my picks for stylish travelers and gifts from North Carolina as well.
Although Michael and I don’t have kids of our own, we are in fact surrounded by them thanks to family and friends. With such a wide age range comes such a large pool of gifts to choose from; today I’m sharing nine special gifts meant to inspire a love of travel, of recording memories (perhaps they’ll even become a travel blogger one day!), and of treasuring well-made items.

There’s little time to waste – let’s get gifting!
TRAVEL GIFTS FOR KIDS + TEENS
1. Family Adventure Set | This unique experience-based gift has something for the whole family. The idea behind it is simple: scratch off a challenge, and then go do it! Take photos along the way with the included instant camera (pics or it didn’t happen, and all that) to fulfill a book of memories.
2. Tortilla Press Kit | Kids who are old enough to play with Play-Doh are old enough to help make tortillas! This kit comes with a tortilla press, a set of recipes, and a napkin for serving the fresh tortillas in (just watch out for little fingers when pressing!).
3. Neck Pillow | This kid-sized neck pillow is designed for kids ages eight and up. With a soft fleece cover and a sturdy, ergonomic structure, this unique neck pillow provides sufficient support for sleeping sitting up (so everyone can rest easy).
4. Kids Luggage and Packing Cube Set | This suitcase is the perfect size for young travelers, and comes with a set of packing cubes to keep them organized on their trip. My favorite feature? The lifetime warranty, which means they can keep using this suitcase long after they grow up.
5. Toddler Sneakers | Yes, the It sneaker comes in their size, too. This sustainable sneaker is easy to put on their little feet, and they just might be the coolest kids at their destination.
6. Travel Journal | Older kids (particularly teens with a lot of feelings) will appreciate this travel journal, which has room for six journeys worth of entries. There are plenty of places to write, doodle, and tape mementos like ticket stubs so they can remember every moment – all in a journal that will look lovely on their bookshelves throughout adulthood (psst… save $15 on your first order when you use my referral link). Got a younger kiddo at home? Try this one instead.
7. Adventure Camera | These rugged adventure cameras are popular for a reason. They’ll be able to capture all of their travel footage (even underwater!) for the most incredible souvenir. This bundle comes with accessories like a swivel clip and extra batteries so the adventure never stops.
8. Binoculars | Skip the kiddie binoculars and buy them a pair that will last forever (it’s cheaper in the long run!). This pair is water- and fogproof and comes with a carry strap so they won’t lose it. What better way to explore a new destination or look up to the nighttime sky away from the city lights?
9. Number One Nano Bag | Older teens who are begging for a designer bag will be thrilled with this one – and while pricey, doesn’t even come close to the prices of the big-name label bags. This stylish bag will carry them through their travels, even if it’s just across the high school graduation stage.
