Wait – why is luxe in quotes? My definition of luxury varies a bit from others; I view an item as luxurious if it is one of the best iterations of a product in its category – not the most expensive. In my opinion, there’s a certain point where spending more money doesn’t net you better returns, it just means you’re parting with more of your money (and you could use that on better things!).

So today I’m sharing my roundup of “luxe” gifts: ones that feel extravagant or indulgent but don’t come with that price tag. The gifts in this guide start at $30, and nothing is over $1,000 (in fact – only one item comes close to that!):
