Good Morning from Miami!
Michael and I are currently at the Gale Hotel in Miami Beach starting our day with a little sightseeing before heading to the airport. We depart this afternoon for Europe, but I still wanted to share an abbreviated Journal post before we leave!

Have an excess of the end-of-summer fruit bounty? This clafoutis looks beautiful and delicious.
Last week I mentioned the return of GBBO/GBBS to Netflix, but did you know there was a version for U.S. audiences? A couple of seasons aired, but after allegations were made against one of the judges, the rest of the third season didn’t air. However, the competition had already taken place and a winner was selected. Here’s an interesting look into the story that remains.

Leah conducted an eye-opening interview about representation in ethical fashion over on her blog. I don’t often talk about these issues because I’m afraid I won’t get the words quite right, and it’s so frustrating. I’m grateful for those out there who can put their thoughts into words in a way I have not yet mastered.
