Does it feel like Fall where you are? I am currently staring down 90°F+ temperatures in the upcoming weather forecast and dreading it a bit! This weekend Michael and I are beginning to set out some of our Autumn and Halloween decorations to see if that will help.

I guess I’ve been reading a lot of things online this week, as it feels like there are more things to share than usual! Here are some things on the internet I found interesting:
Travel
How accurate is this map of every city in Europe?
Here are some interesting snippets from Eater’s podcast with Away co-founder Jen Rubio. Curious about the now-iconic brand’s bags? You can head here to read my review on my carry-on suitcase (one year in!), and here to get $20 off your first order.
Some fun with language: interesting – and quite funny! – Scandinavian idioms. My favorite? “Er det hestens fødselsdag?”

Food & Drink
We first enjoyed Socca in Provence a few years back, yet haven’t had the delicious chickpea pancake since. Socca sounds like it would be a great base for a pizza; it’s time to get my hands on some chickpea flour and make this Socca pizza!
I just can’t with this Minnesota town’s police memo about drunken birds.

Life
Here’s a new (to me, at least), safer way to open your car door. Won’t you give it a try sometime this week?
I’m bookmarking this list of movies for bad times for late winter when moods start to turn blue.
Is your family carving pumpkins this year? We have skipped the past few years, but carving one might help it feel a bit more like October! I’m currently checking out this pumpkin carving kit to replace all of the cheap drugstore sets that break at first use.
A fascinating read about a very long con.

Style
I’m currently drooling over Cuyana’s new holiday collection, particularly the throw, the pajamas, and the sleep mask. (Can you tell I like being comfy?)
Jamie-Lee shared her thoughts on what sustainable fashion means to her – what does it mean to you?
Some white button-down styling options – this is the wardrobe piece that is most elusive to me as I really struggle with fit. Where did you find your perfect button-down?
Things I bought this week
*Crickets* Who am I? My urge to shop is still fairly suppressed after returning from Europe (where, even though I left room in my suitcase for a purchase or two, only bought two small pieces of jewelry), but I’ve felt a bit of a twitch to scroll through secondhand accounts on Instagram. Once my Everlane return credit is deposited, I may give their new Cigarette jeans a try (I am obsessed with the Skinnies and practically lived in them while I was in Europe – no alterations needed!).
Have a great Saturday!
I’ll see you tomorrow for a rare Sunday post – and then I’ll launch into a series of posts from our recent travels in Europe!
