Wow, it’s been a busy week over here! On Sunday I shared my packing list for Europe (yep, all that went in a carry-on suitcase!), and all week long I’ve shared five travel gift guides: for her, for him, for the littles, for the luxe traveler, and a roundup of budget gifts.

Offline, Michael and I have been incredibly busy with work, but we managed to squeeze in getting our Christmas tree up and decorated and have begun the gift-wrapping process. Because of all that, this week’s set of links is a bit shorter than usual (but just as interesting):

I’m generally trying to eat healthier than usual these days so I can treat myself over the holidays, but these churros look so tempting…

Things I bought this week
Lots of shopping this week – most of it for other people (but definitely some of it for me). I’m trying to knock out all of my Christmas shopping by the end of the weekend, with the goal of only giving gifts that are useful and beautiful, and trying to keep to a limit of $25-30 per person. My cousins will each receive a filet bag (my favorite reusable bag to stash in my purse or suitcase) and one will receive a bow scrunchie and the other will receive a couple of these fun foil masks. My horse-girl little sister will get this pretty horse print to hang on her wall. My mom will get a jade roller (and I bought one for myself, too!) and my stepmom will receive this rosewater toner (which, um, I also bought for myself); I also picked up this makeup remover since I’m nearly out of my current stuff. Each night we diffuse essential oils in our bedroom, so I picked up two new ones to try. And, as a kind of a spur-of-the-moment purchase, I added a pair of Levis Wedgie Jeans to my cart as I’m struggling to find a good pair of light-wash jeans. I know it’s not “traditional” to wear light denim in the winter, but it feels so fresh right now – especially when paired with dark sweaters.
How has your week been? Are you a last-minute holiday shopper, or is everything wrapped and tucked under the tree?
