Last month Michael and I spent a beautiful long weekend in San Francisco, attending our friends’ wedding and soaking in the city through the lens of a local. Normally when I return from a trip, I assemble a weekend guide full of a destination’s must-dos and hidden gems – but since the purpose of this trip was to enjoy the company we were with and not explore San Francisco in a traditional way, I don’t feel comfortable assembling a guide from this trip.
But that doesn’t mean I don’t have something to share with you – in fact, we visited many places I thoroughly enjoyed, and would want you to know about for your next trip to San Francisco – so today I’ve put together a little photo diary from our weekend and a mini-directory of my favorite spots. From padding around Potrero Hill and Dogpatch to going ~*out*~ to celebrating our sweet friends’ nuptials in a beautiful ceremony at City Hall (fun fact: their first date was attending a rodeo with us in Fort Worth!), here’s an old-school blogging style look at a memorable weekend in San Francisco:

I hope you enjoyed this quick stroll through San Francisco behind the lens! This trip served as a lovely reminder that sometimes it’s not about the destination – it’s about the people you’re with.
